USING YOUR SMART SOCK CORRECTLY

All Owlet Smart Sock kits include four fabric socks (two left socks and two right socks). Choosing the right size and placing them correctly on your baby's foot are essential steps to get the most out of your Smart Sock. SOCK CLEANING AND CARE TIPS

Proper Smart Sock hygiene will prolong its life and make it more comfortable for your baby. Owlet recommends hand washing the fabric sock and sensor at least every 2 weeks to prevent skin irritation caused by dirt.

1. Gently hand wash the fabric sock and sensor with cool to lukewarm water and mild soap.

2. Lay flat or hang the fabric socks and sensor and let them air dry. Make sure the sock, sensor, and your baby's foot are completely dry before use.

WHICH FABRIC SOCK SHOULD I USE?
The Smart Sock comes with four fabric socks. Please refer to the chart below to choose the correct sock. Remember that your baby's weight is usually the best indication for sock size.

PROPER SOCK PLACEMENT
1. Place the sock notch behind the little toe, on the side of your baby's foot.
2. Secure the toe strap around the foot, over the toes.
3. Then, wrap the ankle strap over the back of the ankle and secure it on top of the foot. Make sure the ankle strap covers all the way around the ankle and sits well above the foot.

PUTTING ON THE SOCK. SHOULD IT BE TIGHT?
The Smart Sock should fit snugly and comfortably on your baby's foot, but not too tight. If the ankle strap does not completely go around the foot, it may be time to switch to size 2 sock.

CAN THE SMART SOCK BE WORN UNDER FOOTED PAJAMAS?
Of course! You just need to make sure the Smart Sock is in direct contact with the skin. Choose pajamas that are not too tight or too warm. Excessive moisture and pressure can irritate your baby's sensitive skin.

HOW TO INSERT THE SENSOR?
After selecting the correct fabric sock size, make sure the sensor is properly attached to the sock. The sensor notch should align with the sock notch.
