How does the Dream Sock work?
A sensor around the foot measures heart rate and blood oxygen level (SpO2) during sleep. You see the readings live in the Owlet Dream app. If a reading falls outside the preset zones, the base station gives light and sound signals and you get a notification on your phone.
Which babies is the Dream Sock for?
For healthy babies from 0 to 18 months, weighing 2.5 to 13.6 kg, for routine home monitoring.
Is the Dream Sock a medical device?
Yes. The Dream Sock is certified as a medical device in the EU (CE marked). Its notifications help you decide whether to seek medical advice. They do not replace a diagnosis or treatment by a doctor.
What is pulse oximetry?
A pulse oximeter measures oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate with light passing through the skin. That is how the Dream Sock works: its software analyses this reading and alerts you if the values fall outside the preset zones.
Which sizes and colours are there?
The box includes fabric socks in 2 sizes, so the sock grows with your baby. The Dream Sock comes in Mint, Dusty Rose and Bedtime Blue. Extra socks (pack of 4, sizes 1 and 2) are available in the shop.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 16 hours. 20 minutes of charging gives 8 hours, a full charge takes 90 minutes. The battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
Do I need Wi-Fi and a smartphone?
Yes. The Dream Sock works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (a dual-band router also works) and pairs via Bluetooth. The Owlet Dream app runs on iOS 16 or later and Android 7 or later, and it is free.
What if I do not hear my phone?
The base station next to your bed gives light and sound signals itself if a reading falls outside the zones, as well as the notification on your phone.

What is the Dream Sight?
A video baby monitor that streams 2K HD video with night vision to your phone. The camera alerts you to crying, sound and motion, has two-way audio and tracks the temperature and humidity in the room.

Does the camera run on batteries?
No. The Dream Sight runs on mains power, with the power adapter in the box.
Does the camera work in the dark?
Yes, the Dream Sight has night vision.
Does the camera have its own screen?
No. You watch through the Owlet Dream app on your phone (iOS 16 or later, Android 7 or later).
Is the video secure?
Yes. The video stream is protected with 256-bit encryption.
Does the Dream Sight work without the Dream Sock?
Yes. You can use the camera on its own or with the Dream Sock, in the same Owlet Dream app. Together they are the Dream Duo.
